To start off, this is my very first time wrapping a bat. So, I learned that you really can unwrap a bat and then use the Vuk grip again. Lol. On my first attempt, I overlapped it so much that when I was done, I barely could fit both hands on the grip. So, I was kind of kicking myself and wishing that I had bought another one. Then I remembered how the backing is supposed to be sticky enough that if you break your bat you can just take the grip off and use it again. Well, my bat wasn't broken, the grip was just applied by an idiot. Lol. So, I took it off and did it better. No problem.
I went with Vuk because the thought of using grip over tack made sense to me. I have seen my roommates use other brands for awhile now. How they feel when they first go on fades out very quickly. The tack does not last. So, this appealed to the logical part of my brain. I love the feel of this grip. It should not fade out because the grip is built into it, not applied on after. This is my brand going forward.
Color was not i only added or washed while still in the package. More white began flaking off upon application. Wrote to Customer service re: my concern but did not receive a reply. Will stick with solid colors in the future. Wondering if detail work is still something the company needs to perfect.
Im actually wondering if there is any warranty on it inside know its far fetched but a 6 dollar glove will last longer than that. The grip is superior though never seen anything like it
We saw the booth at the College World Series and bought one. We even re-gripped to fix my initial attempt, worked perfectly (literally took it off and started over). 3 bombs since switching to the VUK grip.
My son's OG grip wore out. We wanted to get another year out of his bat but didnt want to ruin the feel that he had. Let me just say this tape did not only "not ruin the feel" but he has played in all types of weather this year and the tape has exceeded all expectations. Zero loss of grip in full out downpours! Love the message behind the tape as well. Gotta add- if Coach Rac can use it while being sprayed by a garden hose I think it speaks for itself!
Love the feel of these grips. Started with one on my USA bat to test it in league ball and now using them on all bats including my Juno that I use in tournaments.

Hey Kathleen! Thanks for the review! The picture told the story on the concern. It looks like the there is no finishing tape on the ends of the grip. Without having some type of tape to protect the ends, it may cause it to eventually peel back. We include two pieces of finishing tape with each lacrosse grip! Electrical tape or athletic tape will work as well!
With that adjustment, there would be no issue with the grip peeling back. We will be sure to email you as well and follow up!

Easy online purchase. Delivery was within about one week. Product was easy to use with provided instructions. The grip feels very nice on the bare hands and has revived an old bat.
Ordered a couple of grips and threw in a Mystery Grip! Got solid yellow which I couldn't be happier with. I wrapped my sons Julio Rodriguez baby blue and yellow wood bat and he absolutely loves it!!! The colors pop and the grip is tacky and amazing. Highly recommend!!
