All blue hockey tape used to be same! It was cloth-y, rough, got sticky, lost its grip and didn't last long. Blue hockey stick tape has evolved over the years turning into hockey grip tape! Pulse blue VUKgripz
I absolutely love VUKgripz. Once you learn how to install them other products are a waste of money. Consistent grip, great feel, and nice on the palms of your gloves. Colors are awesome on the pulse blue and give your stick a nice clean look. My boys and I all use them and it is the only product we use, since 1st trying them out a few years back.

LOVE THE GRIP FEELS GOOD IN THE HAND ONLY KNOCK I WOULD SAY IT NOT AS BRIGHT COLOR WISE AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE HARD TO TELL WHAT THE DESIGN BUT OVERALL I LIKE THE GRIP
Love the grip. It thinner then most other styles, similar to .5 or .7mm grips of other companies but feels great in your hands. And paired with the batting gloves as a system you can use a more looser handle on the bat instead of choking it and rolling over.
