Traditional tape and rubber grips get their hold from tacky coatings, leather or cloth. Sweat, rain and cold break those down fast — so players squeeze harder, build bulky knobs and candy-cane wraps, and still lose the handle when it matters.

Our story
Built by a player who needed it
RJ Vukovich founded VukGripz in 2013 and field-tested it during his own professional baseball career. Today VukGripz is trusted by USA Baseball's national teams, the Premier Lacrosse League including All-Time Pts Leader, Rob Pannell, and thousands of athletes from little league to the pros — and it's still proudly made right here in the USA.
Questions before you buy
Is it sticky?
No. It's grippy, not tacky — the hold comes from texture, so it won't leave residue on hands or gloves.
Does it really work when wet?
Yes. The material doesn't absorb water, so it grips the same in rain, sweat, mud or on icy gloves.
Can I move it to new gear?
Yes — VukGripz is reusable. Peel it off and re-wrap it on your next bat or stick.
Is it hard to put on?
Not at all. Wrap edge-to-edge with light tension, then finish both ends with the included finishing tape.
Will it feel too thin?
It's built thin for feel. Want more cushion? Apply it over your existing grip or tape.
